Betty Canada Q3 Revenue Jumps 23% as Alberta Expansion Drives Growth

Betty Canada reported strong financial results for the third quarter of 2026. The online casino operator increased its net revenue by 23%, reaching $111 million across Ontario and Alberta.

The growth came from continued success in Ontario and the company’s expansion into Alberta’s newly regulated online gambling market.

Betty Canada CEO Chavdar Dimitrov shared the results in a LinkedIn update covering July 1 through September 30, 2026.

According to Dimitrov, the company recorded more than 214,000 active players across both provinces in September. This represents a 28% increase compared with June.

The company also reported growth in new player registrations, original slot games, and bingo revenue.

Betty Canada Q3 Revenue Reaches $111 Million

Betty Canada’s Q3 revenue increased 23% compared with the previous quarter.

The company’s combined net revenue across Ontario and Alberta reached $111 million.

Ontario remained the company’s largest market, generating approximately $101 million.

This was an increase of $11 million compared with Q2 2026.

Meanwhile, Alberta contributed nearly $10 million after opening its regulated iGaming market on July 13.

The results show how Betty Canada’s expansion into a second province has helped support its overall growth.

Alberta Claims Early Slots Market Success

According to preliminary information from gaming providers, Betty Canada believes it has secured the leading position in Alberta’s online slots market.

The company entered Alberta on July 13, the same day the regulated market officially opened.

However, this market-share claim is based on preliminary provider data rather than independently confirmed operator rankings.

The early results suggest that Alberta could become an important source of future revenue.

Ontario Growth Continues Despite Lower Advertising Spending

Ontario remained a major contributor to Betty Canada’s Q3 financial performance.

During the quarter, the company reduced advertising spending by 12% compared with Q2.

Total advertising expenses in Ontario fell to $15 million.

Despite spending less on marketing, Betty Canada continued to attract new customers.

The number of new depositors increased 6% to 56,702.

At the same time, new depositors acquired through organic channels increased 19%.

Organic acquisition refers to customers who discover a platform without directly clicking on paid advertisements.

These figures suggest that Betty Canada was able to attract more customers while reducing its advertising budget.

Revenue Per Active Player Remains Strong

Betty Canada also reported positive results in net revenue per active player.

In Ontario, the monthly figures were:

  • July: $193 per active player
  • August: $195 per active player
  • September: $183 per active player

July and August were the company’s highest monthly results of the year for this measurement.

Although revenue per active player declined in September, the company continued to report strong customer activity.

The results highlight Ontario’s importance as Betty Canada’s established online casino market.

Alberta Online Gambling Expansion Attracts New Players

Alberta became Betty Canada’s second regulated Canadian market in July 2026.

The company launched its platform on July 13 and quickly began attracting new customers.

During Q3, Alberta recorded 42,831 new depositors.

More than 10,000 of these customers came from promotional campaigns conducted before the official launch.

Betty Canada spent approximately $14.1 million on advertising in Alberta between July and September.

Alberta Player Revenue and Retention Improve

Net revenue per active player in Alberta also increased.

The figure rose from $126 in August to $149 in September.

August was the first full month of operations in the province.

Betty Canada also reported improving player retention.

Returning players represented 48% of Alberta’s player base in August. This increased to 62% in September.

For comparison, the company reported a figure of 90% in Ontario.

The difference reflects Alberta’s newer customer base and Ontario’s more established operations.

By September, Alberta accounted for 12% of Betty Canada’s total monthly revenue.

The company expects that share to increase to 27% by December 2027.

However, this remains a company projection rather than a guaranteed result.

Betty Originals Launches Its First Slot Game

Betty Canada also expanded its gaming portfolio during Q3.

The company introduced Betty Originals, a collection of casino games developed for its platform.

Its first original slot game, Vault Wreckers, launched in Ontario on August 31.

The game became available in Alberta on September 17.

According to the company’s performance report, Vault Wreckers attracted 50,841 active players during its first seven days.

Each player completed an average of 307 rounds.

Together, players generated approximately 15.6 million rounds during the opening week.

This was the highest seven-day opening round count among Betty Canada’s new game releases in Ontario during 2026.

The strong initial engagement highlights the company’s growing investment in original casino content.

Developing exclusive games may also help Betty Canada differentiate its platform from competitors.

Betty Canada Bingo Revenue Surges 78%

Bingo was another important part of Betty Canada’s Q3 performance.

The company recorded its strongest quarterly bingo results since launching the product.

Bingo net gaming revenue reached $911,000 in Q3, an increase of 78% compared with the previous quarter.

September was particularly successful, generating a record $394,000.

When combined with Mini Slots, the bingo segment generated $1.3 million in quarterly net gaming revenue.

Of that amount, $581,000 came during September.

Bingo Attracts 71,000 Monthly Players

Betty Canada’s bingo platform attracted approximately 71,000 players in September.

This represented 39% of the company’s monthly active players in Ontario.

The company also reported increasing engagement between bingo and slot games.

According to Betty Canada, 77% of bingo players now use Mini Slots.

Mini Slots allows customers to access slot games while participating in bingo sessions.

The company believes combining different gaming products helps improve player retention.

Its weekly Saturday bingo events also attract up to 7,000 participants.

These results suggest that bingo has become an important part of Betty Canada’s wider gaming business.

What Comes Next for Betty Canada?

Betty Canada’s Q3 2026 results show continued growth across its Canadian operations.

Ontario remains the company’s largest revenue source, while Alberta is becoming an increasingly important market.

The company has also reported positive results from lower advertising spending in Ontario, new player acquisition in Alberta, and the launch of Betty Originals.

Meanwhile, bingo has delivered record quarterly revenue.

Looking ahead, Betty Canada expects Alberta’s share of its total revenue to reach 27% by December 2027.

However, future performance will depend on customer activity, competition, and market conditions.

For now, the company’s Q3 results highlight the role of geographic expansion, original casino games, and customer retention in its growth strategy.
